What size should a physician
organization be to use PHS management services?
PHS offers the same range of services to any
physician organization regardless of its size. Many small organizations
simply don't have the time or staff to take care of the financial, information
reporting and business requirements that are needed today. Large organizations
may have their own systems in place but many are overwhelmed by the quantity
of work. We can provide complete business management or just the services
you need.
Are your services affordable
for small organizations?
Small physician organizations often find it is more cost-effective to
outsource services than to hire more staff and purchase more equipment.
They also often need the organizational
services we offer. The cost analysis we provide can help you determine
where we can save you money.
Can we customize your services
to meet our particular requirements?
Yes. Our goal
is to provide exactly the services and data reporting that will help your
organization operate more effectively and profitably. Our experts will
work with you to determine your needs and develop customized solutions.
How can we manage patient
care when every health plan has different benefits and different requirements?
PHS is led by some of the country's most experienced managed care pioneers
and staffed by experts in every aspect of managed care. We will establish
computerized patient management
systems that help your physicians and staff know immediately what benefits
and co-payments apply to each patient. We also offer training
services for your physicians and staff.
How can we be sure our information
is private and secure?
Our state-of-the-art system provides the highest level of security to
protect your data, including the most secure firewall protection in the
industry. The PHS Web server is verified by Verisign, a national organization
that vouches for the security of Web sites.
What kinds of computers,
software and technical interfaces do we need to use PHS services?
All you need is a personal computer with Internet access, including a
browser such as Explorer 4.0 or greater. Your password will give you access
to your company data from your office or home, or even when you're traveling.
What kinds of technical
support will we have?
PHS clients have access to complete technical support. Our qualified,
highly experienced technicians will provide initial on-site staff training
and will be available to answer your questions and provide assistance
when needed. For further information, click on the Tech Support button.

What happens to our data
if PHS computers go down or our computers go down?
Your data is safe with PHS. It resides in our million dollar mini-mainframe
computer and is maintained by professional technicians in an environment
that is not possible in most physician's offices. We have built-in redundancies
and back-up safeguards as well as an uninterrupted power supply, ensuring
against the loss of data that can occur with small office computers. If
your own computer goes down while you're on our site, it has no effect
because the information you see is in our computers.
Will we have access to real-time
information?
Yes. Our automated systems enter data on the PHS Internet site as it becomes
available, giving our clients access to accurate, real-time data. Improved
information will enhance your organization's financial
management and strategic planning.
Can certain information
be restricted only to authorized individuals in our organization?
Absolutely. You determine who should see which information on your site.
Your organization's key password provides access to your on-line site.
Separate passwords provide access to specific areas on the site.
How difficult is it to learn
how to use the PHS on-line services?
It is very
simple to learn, and we provide the training you need. The Web-based product
we use has been tested and used by hundreds of thousands of physicians
and staff members. There is no complicated software to install or learn;
just the click and point ease of the Internet.
